Together, we can Keep The Earth’s Eagles Flying Forever Free!TM
We have already lost forever the “Haast’s Eagle”, a now extinct eagle species that once lived in the South Island of New Zealand. This species was the largest eagle known to have existed. One of the largest eagles living in the world today, the Philippine Eagle, has a population that has dropped dramatically to only about 400 pairs in the wild (a conservative population estimate). These numbers are dangerously low. Even those species with more sustainable population numbers have faced significant population decreases this century. Time is of the essence to prevent their further decline.
